1 Safety
1.1 Intended Use
The drum pumps are used for quick and save liquid transfer or emptying of tanks,
barrels and containers.
In an environment subject to explosion hazard, pumps and motors are used which
have been checked and approved according to the valid Explosion Protection Directive.
1.2 Safety instructions
All safety instructions must be observed and followed.
Failure to follow the safety instructions may lead to serious injury or death or cause
environmental and/or property damage.
Adherence to the safety instructions will help you to avoid risks, to operate the pump
efficiently and to ensure that the product is used to its full potential.
Attention!

Make sure that the operator has read and understood the
operating instructions.

Check the motor, mains plug, pump and hose regularly for
operating safety.

Regularly control smooth operation of the ball bearings and drive
shaft by qualified personnel.

Always supervise the pump.

Regularly check coupling and driver for wear by qualified
personnel.

Only take off the motor from the pump or put it on the pump
when the motor shaft stands still.

Use a suction strainer.
