Attention! 

 

The operator is responsible for the secure use of the reversion of 
rotation. 
Keep in mind that due to the reversion of rotation there is the possi-
bility that air or liquid is pressed into a container which may then be 
damaged.  

 

 

Attention! 

 

Make sure that the container is sufficiently ventilated.  
Otherwise an underpressure may result in the container to be emp-
tied that can damage the containers.   

 

 

Attention!  

 

Only turn on the pump when it is in the liquid. Never operate the 
pump dry. On the horizontal version the pump must be completely 
mounted in the system.  
We recommend the installation of a device to protect the pump 
against dry running such as a flow control, contact manometer,  
differential pressure switch, level control or similar appropriate  
devices.  

 

Avoid the operation at closed suction side. 

 

Only use the pump for its intended purpose. 

 

Never leave the pump unattended.  

 

The pump should not be exposed to the weather. 

 

The pump has to be used in vertical position only (except for  
horizontal versions). 

 

Install the pump in a way which ensures that it cannot fall into the 
container. 

 

Only use the pump with a suitable hose. 

 

The pump should not be immersed deeper into the liquid than the 
outlet connection. 

 

Clean pump after each operation. 

 

 

Attention!  

 

Immerse the pump into the liquid and secure it in a vertical position 
by the use of a drum fitting or a screw clamp. Always position the 
pump to prevent it from falling into the container.  

 

 

Attention!  

 

We recommend providing the power supply with fault current  
breakers.  

 

 

Attention!  

 

Firmly tighten the screws resp. the union nut.

 

 

 

Attention!  

 

Ensure that the hose is securely fixed to the hosetail. 

 

If the hose is completely emptied, the air compressed in the hose 
can cause a loud bang when suddenly released.
