Warning
Please note that the battery must be removed from the charging shaft if the charger is
not connected to the network. Otherwise, the battery will be discharged!
If batteries are new or have not been used for some time, it is quite likely that they do
not reach their nominal capacity. This is not a fault and normal under these circum-
stances. The full capacity will be reached after about 5 charge /discharge cycles.
The charger observes the temperature of the battery packs. Therefore, batteries which
have a temperature above 65°C or below 5 °C will not be charged.
When assembling the battery make sure that it audibly locks. Pull the protective cover
over the battery.
10. Disposal
Battery chargers, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-
friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of battery chargers into house-hold waste! According to the European
Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its incorporation
into national law, battery chargers that are no longer suitable for use must be separately
collected and sent for recovery in an environmental-friendly manner.
