Switching On and Off
1. Put on the shoulder belt (
14) (see “Attaching/Setting the
Shoulder Belt”).
2. Connect the power cable (12)
with the extension cable.
3. Make a loop in the end of the
extension cable and suspend this
in the cable strain relief element
(11) on the handle (9).
4. Connect the equipment to a pow-
er supply with the supply voltage
specified on the rating plate.
5. Hold the equipment firmly in a
relaxed and safe manner (see
)
.
6. Operate starting lock (13) and
switch on the pruning saw at
on/off switch (10).
For safety reasons, a lockable
continuous operation setting is
not possible.
7. The equipment will switch off
again when you release on/off
switch (10).
Checking the oil automation
Before starting work, check the oil level in
the oil automation system
1. Switch the device on and hold it above
clear ground. The device should not
touch the ground.
2. If a trace of oil appears, the device is
working flawlessly.
3. If no trace of oil appears, clean the oil
outlet channel (
22) or have the de-
vice repaired by our customer service
department.
4. To clean, wipe the residues from the oil
outlet channel (
22) using a brush
or a rag.
Adjusting the Telescopic
Handle
The telescopic handle can be infinitely ad
-
justed using quick release (17).
1. Push the lever (17a) forward
as shown in the illustration then
push and pull to adjust the han-
dle length.
2. Pull back the lever (17a) and so
fix the desired working length of
the telescopic handle.
3. If the lever (17a) comes loose,
tighten the Allen screw (17b)
using the Allen key (20).
Adjusting the handle
The incline angle of the handle (9) can be
adjusted continuously.
1. Loosen pivotal centre (8) and
and fixing the adjustable handle
(9) on position.
2. Replace the pivotal centre (8) to
fixation.
Transport
• Put on blade cover (
18).
• Ensure that you do not switch on the
equipment when carrying it.
