Saving/Loading Software Con fi gurations
The current software application’s settings can be saved to a con fi guration fi le that can be recalled at a later time. This
feature is useful if the operator has different tests that use different measuring units and alarm settings. Rather than
resetting each parameter, all test parameters can be recalled from a
fi le.
To Save a Software Con fi guration:
1. If in the Run or Record modes, press the Stop button.
2. Set all software parameters to desired settings.
3. Select
File – Save Setup Con fi guration from the main menu.
4. A Save Data File as… dialog box will be displayed asking you to name the con fi guration fi le and where to
save it. Type a name in the File Name: textbox and press the Save button.
Note: The default location for saving a con fi guration fi le for Windows XP and Windows 2000 is:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\My Documents\Flo-tech\Hydraulic Analyzer\Con fi gurations
The default location for saving a con fi guration fi le for Windows Vista
®
is:
C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Flo-tech\Hydraulic Analyzer\Con fi gurations
To Load a Software Con fi guration:
1. If in the Run or Record modes, press the Stop button.
2. Select File – Open Setup Con fi guration from the main menu.
3. A Select Data File to Open… dialog box will be displayed asking you to select the desired con fi guration fi le.
Select a con fi guration fi le and press the Open button.
Note: The default location of this dialog box shows fi les in the following folder for Windows XP and
Windows 2000:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\My Documents\Flo-tech\Hydraulic Analyzer\Con fi gurations
The default location of this dialog box shows fi les in the following folder for Windows Vista
