2.2.2 Location
Consult the CP-6408 4K IR PTZ User Guide for advice on positioning, orienting and
mounting the camera.
Verify that the operating temperature range is between -40°C ~ 50°C (-40° ~ 122°
F), 10-90% relative humidity (non-condensing).
Refer to the Installation Guide for available mounting accessories. (see
Warning!
Before drilling into surfaces, verify that no electrical or other
utility service lines are present. Serious injury or death may
result from failure to heed this warning.
Power:
Universal Power Over Ethernet (UPOE), 12 Vdc, or 24 Vac.
Ethernet
: Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Ethernet is required for streaming video, and
configuring the camera.
3.Install Camera
3.1 Fit Mounting Hardware
If required, install the mounting hardware for the camera. The
Installation Guide
document (see
provides a list of Mounting Accessories
with relevant Mounting Instructions.
3.2 Route Network and Power
Properly install the power and network cabling in the mounting hardware so that it
is accessible when the camera is mounted.
3.3 Mount Camera
Mount the camera. If using mounting accessories, follow all recommended
Mounting Instructions in the Installation Guide (see
).
