Operating the Fido X4

Step 1:

Remove a reference standard from the kit.

Step 2:

Extend the reference standard from the sheath by pressing the thumb button
while sliding it forward until the reference standard fully extends and locks.

With the holes facing toward the Fido X4 display, insert the reference standard
into the thermal desorber (TD) slot as shown in Figure 5-6.
