10. Network Viewer and Image Viewer 

 

This section provides instructions for installing and using the Network Viewer, and Image Viewer, which are 

included with the DGR201. The programs can be operated by a selected PC equipped with the following 

requirements. 

 

1.  Intel Pentium 233MHz (minimum). 

2.  32 MB RAM 

3.  Window 95, 98, NT, and ME. 

4.  4 MB Video card capable of 24-bit true color display. 

5.  5 MB free hard-disk space for software installation. 

6.  10-base T network for LAN operation. 

 

 

10.1 The Network Viewer 

 

10.1.1 Introduction to Network Viewer 

 

The Network Viewer allows you to potentially access 16 units of the DGR201 from a remote desktop or a 

laptop in a TCP/IP networking environment. It can perform the following functions. 

 

View live images from the DGR201 

 

Store, search, and review recorded video from the DGR201 HDD. 

 

Change the regular record, event record, and timer properties.

 

 

Before you are ready to view images from a PC, you need to have your DGR201 networked by obtaining 

a 10 base Ethernet data cable (Standard RJ-45) to connect the DGR201 to your LAN/WAN. Now enter 

the main menu to set the IP address.
