Setting this receive-only mode will bypass the TGXL tuning solution when the exciter is in receive mode. This fea-
ture is useful when you have multi-band antennas and want to monitor other bands simultaneously using your
FlexRadio.
Band
Configurator
(Button
and
Dialog)
The
Band
Configuration
dialog
allows
the
user
to
select
ranges
of
frequencies
that
the
tuner
will
selectively
ignore
and
set
the
minimum
SWR
that
will
be
considered
a
good
match.
For
example,
suppose
an
80M
antenna
is
resonant
at
3750
kHz.
In
that
case,
frequencies
near
this
value
can
be
bypassed
by
selecting

box
in
the

row,
then
enter

the

The

Minimal
SWR
The
Minimal
SWR
value
is
used
as
a
target
by
the
tuner
solution
algorithm.
This
feature
gives
the
operator
some
control
over
the
target
SWR;
however,
it
does
not
ensure
the
tuner
will
find
an
impedance
match
resulting
in
the
desired
SWR.
The
selected
value
may
also
give
the
operator
some
control
over
how
long
it
takes
for
a
solution
to
be
found.
For
example,
a
lower
value
may
take
longer
than
a
higher
value
for
the
tuner
to
find
a
match.
