Adjustment of clearance between rollers and blade

After replacing the Ply Separation Blade, it may be necessary to adjust the

traction rolls.

The recommended traction roller clearance is 0.2mm (0.008”).

To evaluate clearance, begin by positioning the adjustment handle to 0. Insert the white

clearance shim between the ply separation blade and the traction rolls. The shim should

move freely. The black clearance shim should not fit between the ply separation blade

and the traction rolls.
