Danger
To minimise residual hazard risks during
maintenance, the following instructions
should be observed. Wear a filter mask P2
or higher and disposable clothes when car-
rying out maintenance work (e.g. filter chan-
ge).

Release the container locks on both si-
des by pulling them upwards.
!
Dispose of the used filter element in a
dust-tight bag according to the statutory
provisions.
!
Remove the dirt that has accumulated on
the pure air side.
!
Exchange the flat folded filter.
!
Close the filter cover, it must lock into
place.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a
paper filter bag with locking slide (order
no.: 296.961, 5 pieces).
–
If the paper filter bag is full and the mini-
mum volume flow is fallen short of it has
to be replaced.
–
At the end of its lifetime the appliance is
to be disposed of according to the statu-
tory provisions.

Properly insert the connection socket (1)
in the suction connection.
!
Push in the connection socket (1) until it
locks into place.
!
Turn the suction connection with the con-
nection socket (1) to the right to close it
tightly.
Note
The accurate fit is ensured by means of a
"bayonet connection".
!
Pull out the paper filter bag to the rear
(1).
!
Lift the locking slide (2) and tightly close
the paper filter bag when removing it
(see label on the filter element pak-
kaging).
!
Dispose of the used filter element in a
dust-tight bag according to the statutory
provisions.
