(EN) INSTRUCTIONS
Assemble the filter
1. Open the package and check carefully if there is any
obvious damage to the filter.
2. Check if the filter cartridge and the waterpump are
assembled properly as in picture 1. Make sure the
cartridge fixing bracket is inserted completely into
the casing. Check if the filter cartridge is inserted
into the cartridge fixing bracket and if the hook is
installed at the back of the body. (Hook position
can be adjusted according to the aquariumtank
waterlevel.)
3. Hang the filter on the proper position of the
aquarium tank and use the suction cup to fix the
filter onto the surface of the aquarium tank as
shown in picture 2. Make sure that the waterlevel in
the aquarium tank is not lower than the minimum
water level of the filter as shown in picture 2.
4. Connect the filter to the power supply.
Maintain the filter
1. To make the best use of the filter and maintain its
function and efficiency, please clean the filter and
its accessories at least once every two weeks.
2. If the filter cartridge is blocked, it should be cleaned
or replaced immediately, otherwise the filtering
efficiency will become extremely low.
3. Clean the filter:
a. Disconnect from the power supply.
b. Take off the filter from the tank, open the filter
cartridge and empty the dirty water from the filter.
c. Wash the filtration chamber and the filter cartridge
with running water.
4. Wash the rotor assembly and the water chamber
thoroughly every three months as in the following
instructions:
a. Take out the fixing bracket.
b. Remove the pump from the bracket.
c. Take off the impellor cover and take out the rotor
assembly.
d. Wash all the components of the filter thoroughly
with running water and reassemble all the parts as
shown in picture 1.
Reminder
Make sure that the power supply cord is inserted into
the power supply cord slot.
Important safety instructions
1. Please operate the appliance under the rated
voltage and use a separate receptacle that is well
grounded.
2. Add water regularly to keep the water surface above
the minimum water level of the filter.
3. Stop using the filter if it has a damaged or aged cord
or plug, if it’s malfunctioning or if it shows abnormal
signs in any manner. Contact your local retailer if
necessary.
4. Before installing, cleaning or maintaining the filter,
please disconnect the filter from the power supply
to avoid electric shocks.
5. Don’t let the filter run dry.
