hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Keep the packaging material, such as plastic bags, out of the reach of chil-
dren.
• Do not drag or pull the device by the power cable. Do not wind the power
cable around the device. Do not touch the power cable with wet hands.
Do not move and switch the device on if you are barefoot.
• Do not use the device near bathtubs, sinks, large water containers, or ex-
pose it to humidity or rain. Do not entirely immerse the heating unit (2) in
water. In the event of immersion, immediately disconnect the plug and
then remove the device from the water. Do not use it again until it has
been inspected or repaired at an authorised service centre.
• Never use adapters for power supply values other than those indicated on
the bottom of the device (plate data). Do not power the device with direct
current (DC).
• Position the device on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface. Do not
place it directly on furniture, carpets, or parquet. Do not expose the device
to direct sunlight or external weather agents. Do not direct the steam jet
directly towards furniture, walls, or floors. Do not move or manoeuvre the
device when it is running. Pay attention not to trip over it.
• Do not obstruct or block the air vents. Keep the ventilation inlets free from
dust. Ensure that no object falls or is inserted into the vents.
• Devices equipped with a water tank may be subject to water leaks. Before
each use, make sure that the tank is not damaged or cracked.
• Only use RUNNING WATER.
• Do not add medicines to the water tank or to the aromatic essence con-
tainer. Never add aromatic oils to the water tank.
• All the parts of the device must be installed as indicated in the first start-
up description.
• Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
• Wait for the device to cool down and disconnect the plug from the socket
before cleaning or refilling the tank with water. Throw out the residual wa-
ter and rinse before refilling the tank.
• Make sure that there is no water left in the device and that it is preferably
dry before storage.
• Periodically perform “Maintenance and Cleaning” operations.
• The Manufacturer, the Vendor and the Importer shall be held responsible
for safety, reliability and performance only if: a) the device is used in com-
pliance with the instructions for use b) the wiring where the device is be-
ing used is in compliance with current laws.
• Repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre. Unauthorised
repairs void and null the warranty and may pose a potential electric risk.
