1. Submerge the light into fresh water for about 10-20 minutes before opening the light head. Also
press all buttons several times and wash off the salt around it.
2. Rinse with slow flowing water. Do not use high pressure water from one direction as it may
cause flood.
3. Wipe off water with a soft dry cloth. Do not dry in direct sunlight or dry with a dryer or stove as it
may cause failure, deformation or damage.
4. Apply a thin coat the O-ring grease and store. Replacing with new O-ring every year is
recommended.
5. Storage avoid of extreme high temperature and humidity, direct sunlight or extreme cold
temperature.
6. Do not use any organic solvents such as alcohol, benzene or thinner or neutral detergents as it
may cause deformation or damage.
The circuit board location of this product is waterproof to minimize the damage even in case of
flood. The battery is also “drip-proof”. However, immediately stop using this product and wipe
water inside of the light and the battery. Do not put the battery back into the light and store it
separately. If there is some water inside, it may cause electric shock or damage to the circuit
board therefore never use it after flood and contact Fisheye or your local retailer for service.
Care and storage
In case of flood
Regular overhaul is recommended every 1-2 years, regardless of the frequency of use of this
product. Please ask Fisheye Customer Service or local retailer.
Service
If residual salt dries, the salt becomes crystals and does not dissolve in water. The
crystallized salt may occasionally push up the O-ring and causes flood. Make sure to
submerge in fresh water to wash out the salt.
