Can the dedicated
S-AV interface
cable and the
dedicated compo-
nent D-terminal
cable connect at
the same time
and output the
image? — You cannot output
the image when both
cables are con-
nected at the same
time. Connect only
one of the cables.
What image will
appear on the TV
when the dedi-
cated component
D-terminal is con-
nected to a TV
supporting D1/
480i or D2/480p
signals? — With this camera,
the progressive out-
put is available only
on TVs supporting
D4 signals. The
image does not
appear on TVs sup-
porting D1/480i or
D2/480p signals.
Printing
Why does a
message appear
during PictBridge
printing? There is a
problem with the
printer. Please refer to the
instruction manual
for your printer.
Misc.
The “CANNOT
EDIT VIDEO”
message
appears. You have
attempted to join
video clips having
different
resolutions or
frame rates. Select video clips
that have the same
resolution or frame
rates.
Why is a noise
heard from a
nearby TV or
radio during bat-
tery recharging? Electromagnetic
waves are emitted
from the AC
adaptor. Move the AC
adaptor further away
from the TV or radio
when recharging the
battery pack.
Why does the
“CARD FULL”
message appear? There is no more
available memory
on the card. Erase unnecessary
data, or use a card
that has more
memory available.
Why does the
“CARD IS
PROTECTED”
message appear? The lock switch on
the card is in the
locked (protect)
position. Move the lock switch
to the unlocked
position.
