Prevent accidental erasure of image and audio data.

Display the data that you want to protect from accidental erasure,
and display the PAGE 1 Playback Setting Screen (page 69).

Select the protect icon

, and

press the SET button.

“LOCK?” appears.

If the protect mode has already
been enabled for the data, then
“UNLOCK?” appears.

Toggle the SET button up or down
to select “YES”, and press the SET
button.

The protect mode is set for the
data.

The protect mark

indicates that

the data is locked.

To return to the Playback Setting
Screen, press the MENU button.
