12.2.2 REACTION VESSEL ASSEMBLY
REPLACEMENT
1. While system is still running, disconnect sample
tubing from left side of solenoid valve #1, at the
nipple connection.
2. Lift reagent straws out of reagents.
3. Switch pump speed to HI for 3 minutes to pump air
through the system, then return speed to NORM.
4. Turn main power OFF.
5. Tilt pump assembly forward.
6. Remove thermometer and carefully set aside.
7. Remove colorimeter inlet tubing from sample flow
cell.
8. Open quick-disconnect connector. (On silica units
disconnect tubing from molybdate valve also.)
9. Unplug left connector behind pump (smaller one)
by pressing side tabs.
10. Lift reaction vessel assembly out of pump housing,
while feeding coiled cord through back of pump.
11. Replace with new reaction vessel assembly. NOTE:
If changing just the reaction vessel, remove tape
from top cap of assembly and pull up the reaction
vessel by the tubing lines. Replace with new reac-
tion vessel, feeding lines through top cap and
reassembling whole assembly. (Also hook up lines
from reaction cell to quick-disconnect.) Reinstall
reaction vessel assembly into pump housing.
12. Reverse process to install new reaction vessel
assembly.
13. Turn power ON.
14. Perform automatic calibration.
12.3 CIRCUIT BOARDS
1. Turn OFF main power.
2. Circuit boards are located behind the keypad
panel. Access by removing thumbscrews from right
side of keypad panel and opening door.
3. Disconnect any plug in cables from board you wish
to replace.
4. Press open color coded clips.
5. Pull circuit board straight out of analyzer.
6. Reverse steps to replace board and reconnect
plug in cables.
7. Turn power ON.
8. Perform automatic calibration.
12.4 FUSES
(See Figure 3-1 for location.)
1. Turn OFF main power.
2. Press down on fuse cap and turn counterclockwise
to remove.
3. Pull fuse and cap straight out.
4. Replace fuse into cap (make sure fuse is of same
type!).
5. Replace by pressing and turning clockwise.
6. Turn power ON.
