Preparation:
TAKE NOTE: wear protective clothing, at least safety goggles and gloves. Do not use the device when
it is freezing (temperatures below 0˚C).
1. Connect the compressor hose to the air connection (4). Make sure the pressure on gauge
is between 8 and 16 bar, no more, but also no less.
2. Connect the water supply hose to the water connection (5). Make sure the pressure on
gauge 2 is between 1.5 and 4 bar, no more, but also no less.
3. Connect the foam reservoir. You do so by turning the special lid on the can of practice foam.
TAKE NOTE: Only use FireSales Practice Foam. The lid and the filling station are adjusted especially
for this. If you use any other foam, the guarantee will expire.
Filling:
1. Connect 1 to 3 empty FireSales Practice Extinguishers to the connections for practice extin-
guishers (7).
TAKE NOTE: Do not connect loose hoses. The hose must always be connected to a fire extinguisher,
otherwise you must disconnect the hose from the connection (7). Water, foam and/or air will come out
of the hoses at high pressure!
2. Dispense the foam supply with the yellow foam dosing lever (8) between 0 and 100%. At
0%, the fire extinguisher only fills with water and at 100%, with water and the maximum
amount of foam.
TAKE NOTE: Also check that the water supply is open and whether the extinguishers are connected
properly and that there are no loose hoses still connected. When the filling process has started, you
can no longer connect or disconnect a fire extinguisher. Water, foam and/or air will come out of the
hoses at high pressure!
TAKE NOTE: When filling a squeeze handle practice extinguisher, please squeeze the handle during
the filling!
3. Switch the red handle water/air/off (9) to water. The fire extinguishers are now filled.
TAKE NOTE: always stay with the device during the filling process.
4. The fire extinguishers are optimally filled if the pressure on gauge 3 is slightly lower (about
90%) than the pressure on gauge 2. The filling station does not switch off automatically,
you must switch the red handle water/air/off (9) back on the possition “off”.
5. Pressurize the fire extinguishers by switching the red handle foam (9) to air. Here too it
applies that the fire extinguishers are optimally pressurized when gauge 3 is at approxi-
mately 90% of the pressure of gauge 1.
6. Switch the red handle warter/air/off (9) back to the correct position, between air and
water.
You can now disconnect the fire extinguishers.
TAKE NOTE: The hoses are still slightly pressurised. The rest of the air, foam or water will be drained.
So keep a good grip on the hoses when disconnecting.
TAKE NOTE: Always first disconnect the hose from the extinguisher and only thereafter from the
Neptune.
