Opening the Case
To install an OPN expansion board or install or replace a battery or other component, the case must
be opened and this procedure should be followed.
1.
Unscrew and remove the 12 spring terminal blocks, as well as the 6 outer case screws.
2.
Carefully remove the top of the case, and slowly open it like a book to the left side.
3.
Next unscrew the 11 outer screws holding the board to the case, and carefully remove the
ribbon cables.
4.
Open the board
a.
For OPN line up the pins of the OPN board, with the install location on the FM board,
install the included standoffs and insert and screw in the OPN board.
b.
To change the battery, unplug the battery from the connector, and then install the new
battery.
5.
Carefully reinstall the board back into the case, and do the above actions in reverse to put the
FM back together.
