WIRING & INSTALLATION NOTES

1)

There are no user-re quired set tings (switches, head ers) on the
FC410MIO.

2)

All con duc tors to be free of earths. 

3)

All wir ing must con form to the ap pli ca ble standards.

4)

See Figs 3 and 4 for FC410MIO sim pli fied wir ing di a grams.

5)

For 24 Vdc pow ered ap pli ca tions, only use a reg u lated sup ply
suit able  for  fire  pro tec tive  sig nal ling  ser vice.

6)

For  pow ered  cir cuit  op er a tion,  route  the  pos i tive  con duc tor
through the FC410MIO to the ex ter nal de vice, while con nect -
ing the com mon (neu tral) con duc tor to the ex ter nal cir cuit.

7)

For dry con tact switch ing, con nect the ex ter nal cir cuit to the
COM and N/O or N/C ter mi nals for nor mally open or nor mally
closed  op er a tion  as  re quired.

8)

Ver ify  the  cor rect  po lar ity  of  wir ing  be fore  con nect ing  the
FC410MIO to the ad dress able loop cir cuit.

9)

For con nec tion to HVR800s, re fer to doc u ment “HVR800 High
Volt age  Re lay  Mod ule  -  In stal la tion  In struc tions”  17A-03-HVR,
Is sue 3 or later, or 120.415.528, Is sue 5 or later.

MOUNTING

To mount the FC410MIO to the elec tri cal hous ing, pro ceed as fol lows:

mount the FC410MIO PCB to the backbox us ing the screws
and stand-offs sup plied.
