For Windows, use the Page Up/Page Down arrows to see the layout of the remaining
sheets.
For Mac OS, use the Page of Page menu to see the layout of the remaining sheets.

Choose the layout you want on each side of each sheet from the Layout menu.

2 Up
for standard printer’s spreads, choose
2 Down
for a calendar spread,
choose
3 Across
for tri-fold brochures, or choose
4 Up
to print four pages per side of a
sheet of paper.

Use the Sheets menu to specify the number of sheets per signature.
Signatures are the basic unit of publication production. A signature is defined as one or
more sheets of printed pages folded as a single unit prior to binding and trimming.
Folded signatures are then stacked (for perfect binding), or inserted between the others
(for saddle stitching). The number of signatures created depends on the number of
pages in the document—as many signatures as necessary are created to accommodate
all the pages.
There is no provision for partial signatures. If there are not enough pages in the
document to fill the created signature(s), blank pages are inserted.

To change the Gap size, select the value and change it.
The gap size is the amount of blank space between rows and between columns of pages
on a sheet. It is used to provide space for the binding. It can be set between 0 to 12
inches.

For Mac OS, you can rotate all pages on a sheet of paper 180
°
by clicking the top of
the page icon—Option click the page to rotate a single page on a sheet and Command-
option click any page to return all pages to normal rotation.

Click any of the Printer Marks tools to display the corresponding printer’s marks on
your document.
The tools are:
Trim—Displays trim marks around 4 sides of the imposed area.
Fold—Displays fold marks at all intersections of imposed pages.
Sheet Tag—Displays the sheet number, job name, and date and time printed on each
page.
