USER‘S MANUAL

ELECTRIC ROTARY LAWNMOWER

EN

Operating instructions

Purpose of use

The lawnmower is suitable for use in private gardens.
Lawnmowers considered to be suitable for use in private gardens are such devices, where
the annual operation as a rule does not exceed 50 operating hours and which are
predominantly used for the maintenance of lawn areas, but not public facilities, parks, sports
fi elds or in agriculture or forestry.
Do not use the product for purposes other than those intended.
For safety reasons the lawnmower must not be used as a drive engine for any other work
tools and tool sets, unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer.

ATTENTION:

Due to health dangers to the user, the lawnmower must not be used to trim

bushes, hedges or shrubs, for cutting or mulching fl exible young plants or lawns, on green
roofs or for balcony pot plants, for cleaning (vacuuming) side walks or to be used as a
crusher of pieces of trunks and branches. Furthermore the lawnmower must not be used as a
motorised hoe, or for levelling of terrain, e.g. molehills.

Instructions for use

Turn on and operate the machine as described in the user‘s manual, carefully follow all
instructions.

Before carrying out any kind of inspection, maintenance or repairs disconnect the power
cable from the mains power supply.
Work only during good visibility or ensure suffi cient artifi cial lighting.
Never operate the machine in enclosed, poorly ventilated rooms, or in the vicinity of fl
ammable or explosive liquids, fumes or gases.
Never use the lawnmower in places where there is danger of contact with a water surface
(e.g. in direct vicinity of garden ponds, in-ground pools, etc.)
Always use the lawnmower with the collection box for catching lawn clippings or work with
the protective cover shut if you are not using the collection box (see pic. 16).
Before you take off or empty the collection box, turn off the motor and wait until the blade has
come to a complete stop.
Before starting mowing, check the terrain where the lawnmower will be used and remove
stones, wires, sticks, splinters, bones and other foreign objects, which could become caught
in it or defl ected or cause injuries.
Start or release the start switch carefully according to the manufacturer‘s instructions. Make
sure that feet are at a suffi cient distance from the mowing mechanism.
Never use the product if you have wet hands or feet or without proper footwear.
When mowing, wear solid, anti-slip footwear and long pants. Never work barefoot or in light
sandals.
Secure loose clothing, long hair or jewellery so that they cannot get caught by the moving
parts of the machine.
