9. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Machine maintenance
Before each use:
– Check that all nuts and bolts are tightened.
– Check that no fuel is leaking from the fuel tank.
After each 20 operating hours (for this purpose, we recommend to contact your authorized service centre):
– Clean the air fi lter.
– Clean the fuel fi lter.
After each 50 operating hours (for this purpose, we recommend to contact your authorized service centre):
– Clean the spark plug and adjust the gap between the electrodes to a distance of 0.6–0.7mm.
– Clean out deposits from the exhaust and muffl er.
Recheck the assembly after maintenance and check if all screws and nuts are tightened.
Service
If you fi nd any defect after purchasing your product, please contact your service department. When using the
product, follow the instructions contained in the included user's manual.
Your claim will be void if the product was modifi ed or the instructions in the user’s manual were not followed.
Warranty does not cover
Fair wear and tear of the machine functional parts as a result of using
Service actions related to the machine standard maintenance (such as cleaning, lubrication, adjustment
etc.)
Defects caused by external infl uences (such as climate conditions, dust exposure, inappropriate use etc.)
Mechanical faults due to machine falling, impact, hitting etc.
Damages resulting from unprofessional handling, overloading, using wrong spare parts, inappropriate tools
etc. In the case of claimed products that have not been properly secured against mechanical damage during
transport, potential risk of damage shall be solely born by the owner.
Storage
ATTENTION! If you will not be using the machine for an extended period of time, store it according to the
following instructions. This will extend the lifetime of the machine.
Completely evacuate all fuel from the tank and the carburettor. Close the choke and pull on the cord 3 to 5
times.
Screw out the spark plug and pour a small amount of motor oil into the opening. Gently pull the pull cord 2 to
3 times.
Clean the outer surfaces with a clean cloth. Store the machine in a clean dry location.
