Air Guide Unit
3.5.1
Function
Located at the bottom of the subrack, the air guide unit is the air inlet for the
subrack’s forced air cooling. During operation, ensure that the air inlet on the front
panel of the air inlet and cable connection unit is free from coverings, so as to
guarantee adequate air flow to cool the equipment.
3.5.2
Ventilation Profile
When there are multiple subracks inside the cabinet, hot air drawn by the fan of the
lower subrack will exhaust via the air guide unit at the bottom of the upper subrack,
as illustrated in Figure 3-4.
