Interventions on vehicle

1. Remove the fuel delivery pipe from the

pressure pump to the rail pipe.

Disconnect the electrical connection from

the fuel pressure sensor

3. Unscrew the remaining nut securing the

rail and remove.

NOTE

To refit, carry out the above opera-

tions in reverse order and replace the
washers underneath the injectors, the

pipes joining the manifold and pres-

sure pump and the pipes joining the
manifold and injectors. The manifold

side and injector/pressure pump side
pipe fittings must be tightened to a

torque of 2.2 daNm.
