Removing- refitting cylinder head

16v

10.

1. Release the injection cables from the lower

part of the intake manifold, undoing the
mounting bracket fixing bolts.

2. Undo the nuts fixing the first section of the

exhaust pipe to the manifold.

3. Undo the protective plugs for the bolts fixing

the camshaft housing to the cylinder head.
Also remove the component (1).

4. Using spanner 1860834000, undo the bolts

fixing the camshaft housing to the cylinder

head.

5. Raise the head, as necessary, and position the

pair of tools 1860988000 for retaining the

tappets, then remove the camshaft housing
from the cylinder head, tools 1860992000
and the camshaft housing gasket.
