Operating Basics
The keys below the display (
) of the VoIP telephone serve menu
navigation and, for edit field input purposes, are assigned an additional function on
top of their actual function, as explained below.

The
initial condition
means that the telephone is in the switching state hang up.
This state consists if the following conditions are fulfilled:
a)
The telephone is hanged up or will be hanged off and then the key will be
pressed.
b)
The hands free mode isn’t active.
c)
The headset mode isn’t active.

Adjusting the Volume
You can adjust the volume while establishing connections as well as during calls. The
volume remains on this level after the call. The "Vol." indicator shows the current
value (see Figure 12).
