Overview for commissioning
Set the mechanics first:
1. Adjust the stroke and end positions:
By means of stop screws (vertical linear guide)
By means of adjusting screws (slotted guide
plates)
2. For noise absorption, set rubber buffers in the stops.
Carry out commissioning with the Festo Configuration Tool
(see FCT help system) or optionally with the control panel
(HMI device control = on):
1. Select the handling module and customise the para
meters.
2. Teach the pick and place sequence (HSx mode, see
following overview).
3. Parameterise further command records via the table if
necessary:
Intermediate positions (target position, position
ing mode, speed etc.)
Inching operation (direction, speed)
To conclude commissioning:

Test run: check the positioning behaviour, reference
points and work range and optimise them if necessary.

Test the control interface (HMI = off ).
S
Protect the settings with a password.
