3 Intended Use
The EduTrainer
® Servo Motor Controller and the EduTrainer ® Stepper Motor Controller must only be used:
• for their intended purposes in teaching and training applications
•
when safety functions are in perfect condition
Caution
The EduTrainer
®
Servo Motor Controller must only be operated with the Servo
Motor Drive unit.
The EduTrainer
® Stepper Motor Controller must only be operated with the Stepper
Motor Drive unit.
The systems are designed in accordance with the latest technology and recognized safety rules. However,
life and limb of the user and third parties may be endangered, and the system may be impaired if they are
used incorrectly.
The training company and/or trainers must ensure that all trainees observe the safety precautions described
in this manual.
Festo Didactic hereby excludes any and all liability for damages suffered by apprentices, the training
company, and/or any third parties that occur during use of the equipment sets in situations that occur
outside of training and/or vocational education, unless such damages have been caused by Festo Didactic
through malicious intent or gross negligence.
Malfunctions which may impair safety must not be generated in the training environment and must be
eliminated immediately.
