Apply screw locking agent to the thread of the outer threaded insert

Screw the outer threaded insert

 into the bearing cap or end cap and 

make sure that the outer threaded insert

 is fitting securely.

Perform a functional test as per the operating instructions (enclosed with 
the cylinder or can be called up on the Festo website (

commission the repaired cylinder.
