Maintenance
10.1
Replacement of a CMGA module
After replacement of a CMGA module, it must be ensured that the replacement module includes the
same configuration. The test report code (checksum / CRC) can be shown in the 7-segment display. It
must be ensured that these numbers are the same as in the test report.
Follow the instructions when replacing a CMGA module:
1. Disconnect drive controller from the main power supply.
2. Switch off the power supply for the device and disconnect.
3. Disconnect and pull out the plugs of the sensors.
4. Remove all other plug-in connections.
5. Take the module off the H-rail and pack it EMC-compliantly.
6. Attach the new module onto the H-rail.
7. Reconnect all connections.
8. Switch drive controller back on.
9. Switch on the supply voltage.
Note:
Plug-in connections of the CMGA module must not be disconnected or reconnected when powered.
There is a danger of sensor damage, particularly with connected position or speed sensors.
