The enclosed PLC programs are designed for controllers with analogue inputs and
outputs. Alternatively, the station can be controlled using solely digital signals, in
which case closed-loop control of the functions does not apply.
6.7.1 Siemens controllers
•
Controllers: Siemens S7-313C
•
Programming software: Siemens STEP7 Version 5.2 or higher

Connect the PC and controller using the RS232-programming cable with PC
adapter
2.
Switch on the power pack
3.
Release the EMERGENCY-STOP (if available)
4.
Master reset the PLC memory:
–
Wait until the PLC has completed its test routines.
CPU 313C
–
Press the mode selector for MRES. Hold the selector switch in this position
until the STOP LED lights up for the second time and is continually illuminated
(corresponds to 3 s), then release the selector switch.

You will need to press the selector switch for MRES again within 3s. The STOP
LED will start to flash
rapidly
and the CPU will carry out a master reset. You
can now release the selector switch.

The CPU has completed the master reset once the STOP LED reverts to
continuous illumination.

The data of the MMC (Micro Memory Card) is not erased during this process.
This can be activated by setting up a connection to the PLC in the menu
"Display target system/accessible stations" and deleting all modules in the
module folder.
