CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool down completely.
2. Remove the detachable stem.
Note : Never immerse the detachable stem of the blender in water because the lubrication on the bearings may
wash away if it stays in the water too long. Wash the detachable stem under running water, without the use of
abrasive cleaners or detergents. After finishing cleaning the detachable stem, place it upright so that any water
which may have got in, can drain out. The stem is a dishwasher safe component.

Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as electric shock may occur.
4. Dry thoroughly.
Caution : Blades are very sharp, handle with care.
5. Reassemble the blender stem to motor unit then place it upright in wall bracket (see Fig.4) or hang it up for
saving space.
Protecting the environment
Should you find one day that your appliance needs to be replaced or if it is of no further
use to you, think of the protection of the environment:
1)
Do not dispose your appliance along with the rest of the public waste (this is also the
meaning of the shown recycling sign).
2) Contact your Public Authorities and they will instruct you of the recycling centers to
which your appliances must be disposed.
3) Correct disposal of your appliance helps the protection of the environment as well as
the recycling of the appliance components.
4) The electrical appliances due to their construction materials, if not correctly disposed,
may lead to environmental and furthermore health hazards.
