5.5 Adjusting the head
5.5.1 Head height adjustment handle
On these Drills it is possible to adjust the head height
This feature is afforded by a rack on the bearing
column of the machine. Head height is adjustable
manually by means of:
 a handle located on the right hand side of the head
(ref. M in Figure 15);
 a pair of bolts and lock nuts located on the left side
of the head.

To adjust the head height, proceed as follows:
1. Unlock the lock nuts using the hexagonal wrench supplied;
2. Hold the handle M and turn it clockwise to raise the head, or anticlockwise to lower it, until
the desired height is reached;
3. Tighten the lock nuts.
Changing the head height
It is absolutely forbidden to change the head and spindle height while the spindle is moving.
