OPERATING MODE SELECTION
By pressing the "
MODE
" button (
Fig. 2
) it is possible to select the operating
modes (
Fig. 3
) you prefer, choosing between the following ones:
AUTO - COOL- DRY - FAN - HEA
T.
1.AUTO
Mode- Automatic: this function is selected by pressing the "
MODE
" but-
ton until the relative Symbol appears on the display. The conditioner automa-
tically sets the suitable operating mode (
HEAT, DRY, FAN, COOL
) depending
on room temperature.
2.COOL
Mode- Cooling: this function is selected by pressing the "
MODE
" button
until the relative Symbol appears on the display. The unit begins to operate if
the set temperature is lower than that of the room.
3.DRY
Mode - Dehumidifying : this function is selected by pressing the "
MODE
"
button until the relative Symbol appears on the display. The unit will begin to
operate in the cooling mode, and will quickly reach the required ambient tem-
perature. Condensation may form on the delivery port if the "
DRY
" function is
used for a long period of time (the fan seed isn’t adjustable).
4.FAN
Mode- Ventilation: this function is selected by pressing the "
MODE
" button
until the relative Symbol appears on the display and the unit get the air auto-
matically circulating in the room.
5.HEAT
Mode- Heating: this function is selected by pressing the "
MODE
" button
until the relative Symbol appears on the display. The unit begins to operate if
the set temperature is higher than that of the room.
Note:
When outdoor temperature is low but high humidity, after a long while run-
ning, frost will form on outdoor unit, that will effect the heating effect, at this time,
the auto defrosting function will act, the heat running will stop for 8-10mins.
During the auto defrosting, the fan motors of indoor unit and outdoor unit will stop.
During the defrosting, the indoor indicator flashes H1, the outdoor unit may emit
vapor. This is due to the defrosting, it isn't malfunction.
After defrosting finished, the heating will recover automatically.

When the unit is switched off after COLD or DEHUMIDIFICATION operation it
ventilates the coil for 10 minutes in order to prevent any residual condensation
from forming mould and bad odours.
TURBO mode (part.2 Fig.3)
the rapid cooling and heating mode activates maximum fan speed and automati-
cally sets the temperature. The direction of air flow and the timer can be set in
this mode.
SLEEP mode
:

press the
"SLEEP"
button to set the unit to the overnight mode. The relative
symbol will appear on the display. The temperature increases (cold mode opera-
tion
"COOL"
) or decreases (hot mode operation
"HEAT"
) by 1°C at set intervals.
Special functions
LOCK function :
press the
+
and
–
buttons at the same time and the remo-
te control will block the last programmed operation. All the command buttons are
deactivated, including the ON/OFF” button. Press the + and – buttons again to
reactivate the button functions.
