Rescue Bag Configuration
FOOT STRAP
To apply the foot strap:
1. Fasten the foot area with the Velcro fastenings (Figure 21).
2. Insert the sides of the foot area into the rescue bag (Figure 22). Always close the foot area before applying the foot strap.
LEG STRAP
To apply the leg strap:
1. Hold the strap with the large buckle (right side, operator’s point of view) and the part of the strap with the small buckle (left
side, operator’s point of view).
2. Follow instructions in “
Securing the straps
”, page 10.
3. Adjust the straps (Figure 19).
4. Tuck in the excess of the straps using the integrated elastics. Ensure that any excess strap length has been secured in order
not to hamper rescue operations.
Ensure that the straps are applied correctly so that the patient is secure inside the rescue bag.
