REGISTERING NEW DECT TELEPHONES
The telephone supplied with the base is already registered as telephone number 1 and
the panel as telephone number 2.
Each additional telephone, compatible with GAP technology, have to be registered in the
base.
One base can be used by a maximum of 4 telephones plus the outdoor panel.
To register a new telephone in the base:
1.- Hold down the key on the base for over 10 seconds until the light starts
blinking. You have 90 seconds to carry out the following steps:
2.- Press the key on the telephone to display the options menu on screen.
3.- Press the keys to select the “ Register ” option of the main menu and
confirm by pressing the key.
Result : The base number appears on the screen.
4.- Press the keys to select the position (Base 1...4) where to store the
address of the base in which the telephone will be registered. Confirm by pressing
the key.
Result : The code of the base assigned to the telephone is displayed on
the screen; the telephone will be stored in the selected position (Base
1...4).
Note: If the telephone already uses one of the base memory positions, that is, it
has already been registered in a base, the "*" symbol will appear in front of the
base number. It will be necessary to select another number of the base.
5.- Press the key; the message "PIN" will appear on the screen. Enter the PIN of
the base (by default, this is 0000).
6.- Press the key to confirm and you will then hear a confirmation tone.
NOTES:
* GAP is the standard system for telephone connections and base stations of different
manufacturers.
* The digital telephone supplied with the kit is compatible with GAP. However, when it
is used with GAP-compatible telephones from other manufacturers, some functions,
except those related to conversation, may not be available.
