Special safety instructions
• The accessories must be stored in
accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
• Always check the condition of the accessories
before using them. Do not use damaged,
deformed or broken discs.
• Ensure that the sanding and milling tools are
correctly mounted as prescribed.
• Ensure that the accessories are correctly and
firmly mounted before using the device. Run
the device unloaded for 30 seconds before
using it. In the case of excessive vibration or
other defects, immediately switch the device
off. Then examine the device for the cause of
the problem.
• Use only accessories delivered with the
device or approved for use with the device.
Never use loose adapters or packing rings to
adapt the device for use with accessories not
included in delivery.
• Do not exert force at the side of the sanding
disc.
• Ensure that any flying sparks do not present a
hazard to persons or inflammable materials.
• Always keep the power cable away from
moving parts of the device.
• If the device jams then immediately switch it
off and remove the plug from the wall socket.
• Use only accessories with a maximum
permissible rotational speed that is greater or
the same as that of the machine.
• Switch off the motor and ensure that all
moving parts have come to a standstill before
putting the device aside.
• Never attach a chuck key to your device using
a cord or other similar fastening.
• Never use the spindle lock while the device is
running.
• Ensure that the diameter of the chuck
matches the axle diameter of the accessory.
• Always clamp the workpiece.
• Keep your fingers away from the workpiece
and rotating accessories.
Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe the
safety regulations applicable in your country to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal
injury. Read the following safety instructions and
also the enclosed safety instructions. Keep these
instructions in a safe place!
Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the rating
plate.
Class ll machine. Your machine is double
insulated; therefore no earthwire is
required.
Replacing cables or plugs
If the mains cable becomes damaged, it must be
replaced with a special mains cable available from
the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s customer
service.
Dispose of old cables or plugs immediately after
replacing them with new ones. It is dangerous to
connect the plug of a loose cable to a socket.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable
for the power input of the machine. The minimum
conductor size is 1.5 mm2. When using a cable
reel always unwind the reel completely.
3. Installation and operation
Always remove the plug from the wall
socket before installation.
Caution! When changing accessories,
insert the tool as deep as possible into
the chuck to avoid uneven running or the
tool slipping out.
