3.2 Supply voltage
The Reader is battery powered using 4 Mignon (AA) batteries. These are installed in the handle of
the Reader. To change the batteries, remove the battery cover. The snap spring is pressed out
with your fingernail to remove the cover. Insert the batteries as indicated by the symbols stamped
in the handle. Observe proper polarity. Then replace the cover and latch the spring (listen for a
click).
Rechargeable batteries of type AA may also be used.
