7.1. CFG0: Passwords
The parameters of the CFG0 configuration block contain the identification codes to personalize the
Reader for a user to prevent outside access to some features of the Reader. For security reasons
data from this configuration block cannot be read from the host, they are “write-only”. Also the
command

READER-ID: (AccessProtection.Password)
Defines the password with which the host logs into the Reader for a read / write access to
the configuration parameter blocks.
CFG_ACCESS: (AccessProtection.Lock_CFGX)
Defines the Configuration blocks which are accessible only if the user has had a success-
ful login to the Reader.
