18. Maintenance
The maintenance of the insoles must not be carried out by a third
person. In case of a malfunction, please contact your distributor or
the manufacturer.
19. Lifetime
The lifetime of the device is the smallest duration between two
years or one million steps made by the user with the product - ie
500 000 steps by insole -.
This duration does not apply to consumable parts, such as
batteries or protective materials, which are expected to wear out
over time, unless the damage is due to a defect in materials or
manufacturing.
NOTE 1 : At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
NOTE 2 : These guidelines may not apply to all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected
by the absorption and by the reflection of structures, objects and people.
›
The field strengths of fixed transmitters, such as base stations for radiotelephones (mobile/wireless)
and land mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM broadcasting, and TV broadcasting, cannot be to be
theoretically predicted accurately.
›
In order to evaluate the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, an on-site electromagnetic
investigation should be considered. If the field strength, measured at the location where the insoles are used,
exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the insoles should be observed to verify that operation
is normal. If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as reorienting
or repositioning the insoles.
›
In the frequency range 150 kHz to 80 MHz, field strengths should be less than 3 V m.
