8. Operating principle

FeetMe®  Monitor  insoles  are  powered  by  a  battery  and  measure  
pressure  on  the  plantar  surface  alongisde  walking  parameters.  
These data are calculated locally with in the insole and transmitted 
by Bluetooth to the smartphone. 

The  FeetMe®  Evaluation  app  can   be  used  on  a  smartphone  to  
receive, store and view the calculated gait parameters.

9. Product setup

Setup does not require any tool other than those provided with the 
device.

7. Product description 

The device consists of a pair of connected insoles and an Android 
application (FeetMe® Evaluation) running on a smartphone.

The mobile application is downloadable on smartphone.

To charge the insoles, connect the charger to a power 
outlet then position the magnetic charger head on the 
area identified by a round mark. Use the wall adapter 
specified in §15 (order from FeetMe if needed).

              

Warning

This device should not be used near other devices or 
stacked above other devices as this may cause malfunction. 
If this use is necessary, this unit and other devices 
should be observed to ensure their normal operation. 

 
              

Warning

RF portable communications devices (including peripherals 
such as antenna cables and external antennas) should not be 
used closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any parts of the FeetMe

®

 

Monitor insoles, including cables specified by the manufacturer. 
Otherwise, the performance of these devices may be impaired.

             

Warning

Use of accessories, transducers, and cables other than 
those specified or provided by the manufacturer may cause 
increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased immunity 
of this equipment and therefore cause improper operation. 
 

             

Warning

Any modification made to FeetMe

®

 Monitor insoles and FeetMe

®

 

Evaluation application is forbidden.

• 

Portable and mobile Radio Frequency communication devices may 
affect FeetMe

®

 Evaluation device.

• 

Be careful not to puncture or cut the soles and their battery and not to 
access the electronic reading circuit directly.

• 

Do not position the wall adapter or charging cable in a position where 
the unplugging is made difficult to the user.

• 

Performance that could be lost or hindered by FeetMe

®

 Evaluation 

device due to electromagnetic interference : none.

• 

Appliances such as microwaves can compromise the operation of the 
insoles. Be careful not to use your insoles near this type of devices.

• 

Do not touch the magnetic elements of the insole directly.

• 

Change shoes in order to use FeetMe

®

 Evaluation insoles in case they 

are not comfortable or fit your footwear.

• 

FeetMe® Evaluation insoles do not match all foot shapes.

• 

No special precaution is necessary in environments of use. 

     

Warning

The device must be charged with the wall adapter reference 
specified on page 13 (Technical characteristics). The use of a wall 
adapter other than the specified one poses the risk of an electric 
shock.
