PA300-CN Siren Amplifier

CHAPTER 7

Control Pad Legends and Safety Messages

To complete the installation, the PA300-CN system includes:

◆

A scored sheet of replaceable keypad legends that identify the functions of the control pad buttons (part

no. 181460). Before installing the legends, configure the operation of the control pad with the PA300-CN

configuration software (see the "Convergence Network Control Pad Configuration Software Manual,"

part no. 2562620).

◆

A scored sheet of two labels with precautions to guard against hearing loss when operating the siren

amplifier/relay module (part no. 1612339).

◆

A safety message card for operators of Federal Signal Sound and Light System (part no. 256B691).

Applying the Replaceable Control Pad Legends

To apply the legends:

Peel the appropriate legends from the sheet and apply them to the control pad in the areas shown in

Figure 7.1.

Verify that the label is properly tucked under the retaining ridge on the button.
