Pump Assembly Continued

12. Slide the dropout coupling against the 

dropout hub leaving a small space between 

the end of the motor shaft and the coupling 

spacer (approximately 1/8”).

10. After dial indication and adjustments have 

been made, reinstall the coupling hubs.

11. 

The pump shaft end should be inset ap

proximately 1/8” away from the end of the 

pump hub.

shaft, sweep face of pump inlet as well as 

inner bore of MSD inlet.
