whilst the flame effect continues normally, this can indicate that the E.S.C. is in
operation. The E.S.C can only be re-set after the appliance has cooled down.
To re-set the E.S.C. proceed as follows:
Switch off the appliance (Main On/Off switch) and leave for approximately 10-
15 minutes.
Remove any obstruction to the fan heater outlet or fan blades etc. Make sure
that the power supply is disconnected at the plug socket outlet whilst you do
this.
Switch on the appliance and the E.S.C. will re-set.
Ensure that the appliance is functioning correctly. If the E.S.C. immediately
operates again, the appliance should be checked by a competent Electrician.
Cleaning
You can clean the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use
cleaning or polishing products. To remove fingerprints or other marks on the front glass
panel, use a soft, damp, lint-free cloth with a good quality household glass cleaner. The
front glass panel should always be completely dried with a clean, lint-free cloth or paper
towel.
Caution: Do not use abrasive cleaners on the glass panel. Do not spray
liquids directly onto any surface of the unit.

Do not dispose of electrical appliances in unsorted municipal waste.
Contact your local council for information regarding the available
schemes in your area. If electrical appliances are disposed of in
landfill or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the ground
and water courses and get into the food chain, damaging your health
and well-being. When replacing old appliances with new ones, the
retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for
disposal free of charge.
