1.2 Points of maintenance

Auger – outer bearing (1)

Auger middle bearing (2)

The grease zerts (A) are located on each side
on the top of outer bearing. These zerts must
be lubricated each time work is finished.

The outer bearings of the auger must be
lubricated when hot, so that the eventual
bitumen residue is expelled.

Pump 5 strokes of grease with grease gun!

The central bearing (A) is lubricated on the
LH-side of the auger.
To do so, slide the bevel gear out.
