Step 6. Turn on water
:
Once all of your connections are complete, replace caps on water drain valves and turn water
back on. Check for leaks. Repair as necessary.
Step 7. Connect the pump and the Flow Monitor
:
There are 2 switches that control the speed of the pump and how it works. The first switch is a
rocker switch located in the pump power cord and contains the connection box that the
Flow
Monitor
wire connects into. There are 2 different styles as shown below:
•
Move, Off and Auto (“Auto” is the correct position) or
•
I Bar, O and II bars (“II bars” is the correct position)
Connect the wire from the
Flow Monitor
to the connector in the electrical wire from the pump.
Snap the switch into the
Auto or II bars
position.
The second switch is the red switch on the pump. It controls the speed of the pump and has 3
settings – 1 (low), 2 (medium) and 3 (high). Set pump to run on 3 (high).
