3.5 Daily Inspection
The components may deteriorate due to heat, humidity, dust, frequent operation or other factors, and that can result
in an accident. Check the following during daily inspection.
Caution
The fan of the FV3000 has a large air intake. Inspect the fan at least once every 6 months. If the dust
filter is not clean or clogged, clean or replace it.
For a replacement filter, use Bridgestone polyurethane-foam

Filter Cleaning Procedure
(1) Turn off power to the FV3000.
(2) Remove screws (2 pieces) of the air intake on the front panel to take off the metal cover and remove the
filter.
(3) Vacuum up the dust from the filter or blow off the dust using an air duster (compressed air).
(4) Put the cleaned filter back into place, reversing the procedure (2).
* When reconnecting connectors, check that they are connected correctly.

Caution
Do not use the FV3000 when the filter is clogged. Doing so will cause heat to build up inside the machine,
resulting in damage to the machine or fire.
If there is an abnormal sound, smell, heat or any other sign of danger, turn off the power immediately
and disconnect the power plug from the outlet. Otherwise, electrical shock or fire may result. If a problem
is undetermined, please contact our sales office or agent.
