14.0 Warranty - International
Every Farrar Scientific -80C ULC freezers are backed by a comprehensive fourteen (14) month parts
only warranty coverage on all refrigeration, controls and electrical components (FCA Marietta, OH).
ULC wall panels are covered by a one (1) year parts only warranty (FCA Marietta, OH).
Warranty does not cover damages or misuse. Repair costs resulting from negligence, or costs
associated with equipment damage, theft, loss, and/or misuse will be responsibility of the customer.
Non warranty related cost to be paid by customer.
Extended warranty program available up to 8 years parts (FCA Marietta, OH). Please contact Farrar
Scientific or your local Farrar Scientific distributor.
The warranty protection extends to any subsequent owner during the warranty period.
Installation and calibration are not covered by this warranty agreement.
Farrar Scientific Technical Services Department must be contacted for warranty determination and
direction prior to any work being performed during the warranty period. Expendable items, i.e., glass,
filters, pilot lights, light bulbs and door gaskets are excluded from this warranty.
Replacement or repair of component parts or equipment under this warranty shall not extend the
warranty to either the equipment or to the component part beyond the original two years warranty parts
only period. The Technical Services Department must give prior approval for the return of any
components or equipment.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER
WRITTEN, ORAL, OR IMPLIED. NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL APPLY.
Farrar Scientific shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages including, without
limitation, damages relating to lost profits or loss of products.
