Drop the load before you reach bad terrain. Drive
through the bad spot. Winch in the load again
(Fig. 13.).

Winch in the load.
If you cannot move the tractor, release the
load and winch the tractor out. When winching
the tractor out, always run the cable under
the lower pulley.

DROPPING THE LOAD
Let down the 3-point hitch.
Pull the clutch rope until the brake ratchet
releases, then stop pulling the clutch rope.
The logs drop to the ground.
TRANSPORTATION
The cable should be run under lower snatchblock
and locked in place for transportation of the
winch.
